Custom AlphaGuard Key

Custom AlphaGuard holograms are the most efficient way to add visual security to your ID cards, protecting your cards from illegal tampering and duplication. AlphaGuard works by adding a watermark-style holographic image over your cards using your standard printer ribbon with an overcoat layer so you don't need to purchase a special ribbon or specially supplies.

Unique to the AlphaCard PRO 700 ID card printer, you have the option to create a Custom AlphaGuard design – this uses an image you design and upload, so only your cards will be printed with your design.

Your first Custom AlphaGuard comes free with the purchase of an AlphaCard PRO 700 printer; additional Custom AlphaGuard holograms can be purchased if you want multiple designs.

Please note: Custom AlphaGuard is only for PC computers, and does not work with Mac OS.

When you design your Custom AlphaGuard hologram, there are two styles of images you can choose from:

• Custom AlphaGuard Grid Design – This style repeats your custom image in a 4x6 grid. Included in the $598 price.
• Custom AlphaGuard Full-Sized Design – This style uses one large image to cover the surface of a standard CR80 card, instead of the repeating grid pattern. The full-size image style costs $648.
