Great print quality doesn't need to take any extra time with the Datacard SP55 Plus. Not only does this two-sided card printer give you the freedom to store secondary text on the back of your card, giving you more room for larger photos; it can also print a two-sided, color card in less than 30 seconds or a one-sided color card in 20 seconds. And with its USB interface, using the SP55 Plus is so simple-- just plug it in and start printing in mere minutes! Ideal for printing larger jobs, an automatic card feed allows you to print dozens of cards at once without supervision.

If you're looking for a printer with options, Datacard offers optional magnetic stripe and contact OR contactless smart card encoding for the SP55 Plus, as well as Ethernet networking. And it's quite simple to maintain. If you run into problems with your printhead, you can replace it yourself and avoid interrupting important print jobs to send your printer away to be repaired. The SP55 Plus also warns the user when ribbon is low, automatically identifies the ribbon type you're using and gives audiovisual prompts when user intervention is required.
