Efficient ID Card PrintingWith 100-card input and output hoppers, batch printing is easy. The Primacy prints up to 210 cards per hour for one sided cards. With Ethernet connectivity you can easily integrate the Primacy into a networked environment, allowing multiple users to access the printer from remote locations.
The Primacy also uses Evolis High Trust printer ribbons. A chip in the ribbon identifies the ribbon to the printer, adjusting the printing settings and making the ribbon cartridges less error prone.
Primacy LCD Touch Screen DisplayMaking the Primacy extremely user-friendly, the printer now has a full color LCD touch screen built in. This makes the printer more intuitive than other models with smaller, hard to read screens.
This screen will have your printer's ribbon, card, and cleaning status permanently displayed so you always know how many prints you have left. If you need to access any of the printer settings, they are only a touch away because the settings menu is in the bottom right corner of the screen.
The new color-coordinated alert system also helps you know when there's a problem. Green for good, orange for an alert, and red for a critical error. The screen will also display the printer status.
The LCD touch screen is also available as an in-field upgrade for Primacy printers you're already using.
Protecting Your Cards with LaminationThe Evolis Primacy ID card printer includes a lamination option, an essential feature for making long-lasting ID cards. Lamination works by applying a protective film (either clear or with a holographic design) over the top of your printed card.
This gives you several benefits – UV-blocking thick lamination will protect your card from fading in the sunlight, and the laminate will protect your card from day-to-day use that may scratch it including swiping magnetic stripe cards. Lamination also makes it harder to tamper with cards.
Mac & Linux CompatibilityA major advantage of Evolis printers is compatibility with Mac and Linux operating systems. The Evolis Primacy has options for both Max and Linux drivers if needed. While not all card design software can work with Mac or Linux drivers, you will still be able to design and print cards with the Primacy.
Primacy Printer Warranty
The Evolis Primacy comes with a three year manufacturer warranty which covers the printer and printhead.
