Scanshell 1000B Scanner w/ IDScan OCR Software

The Scanshell 1000 is a flat-bed scanner that makes it easy for you to scan and gather images and information from driver's licenses, business cards, passports and more. It sports an ultra-compact design, and because the Scanshell 1000 is a bus-powered USB device, no additional external power sources are required. Simply connect the scanner to any standard USB port and you're good to go. Using a CIS (contact image sensor) the Scanshell 1000 is capable of color, grayscale, and black and white scanning of any ID card. It boasts an optical resolution of 600 dpi. The Scanshell 1000 helps to increase productivity and reduce human error by automating the archiving process. It comes bundled with idScan software, an intuitive platform for capturing card images and printed information from both the front and back of each scanned card. The software also reads barcodes and magnetic stripes, and can export images and text data to any other application.
