Inside Sales Manager
Job Responsibilities
Inside Sales
- Lead a team of Inside Sales Reps to provide exceptional customer experiences to inbound sales opportunities that result in a sale
- Ensure team captures excellent customer notes and lead qualification data for all inbound opportunities
- Ensure efficient and timely quote follow-up for inbound opportunities
- Coordinates the involvement of sales support personnel and / or leadership to ensure customers' expectations are met
- Proactively inspects sales activity and effort of inbound sales team, ensuring that the quality and effort meets company expectations
- Works with leadership and other departments to ensure strategic and business objectives are met by the inbound sales team
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging key customer accounts in conjunction with inbound sales personnel managed
- Provides a management-level point of contact for key customers
- Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel
Leadership and Team Development
- Prioritizes coaching and performance management efforts to hold sales personnel accountable for achieving sales objectives
- Identifies deficiencies in skills of team members, and works to improve individual's capabilities through coaching, development, and training
- Hires and develops Inbound Sales Reps utilizing company human resources guidelines and support resources
- Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives
- Positively impacts the performance of individual sales team members by implementing and managing sales and sales support tools, including training programs, productivity initiatives, and customer communication tools
Accountabilities and Performance Measures
- Meets assigned team quotas for sales, profit, and strategic objectives
- Accountable for the thorough implementation of all customer related initiatives among sales personnel
- Responsible for the efficient engagement of company support resources to achieve sales objectives
- Implements effective coaching and development of direct-reports
Organizational Alignment
- Reports to the GM
- Directly manages a team of 7+ Inbound Sales Reps
- Coordinates company executive involvement with customer management
- Works closely with Customer Service and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction, and high levels of sales support
Qualifications
- 4 years of successful sales experience
- 2 years of Sales Supervisory experience
- History of successfully achieving sales quotas
